My next On-Camera Acting One class will be on Thursdays and start after the new year.

On-Camera I
7 weeks @ The Shoebox, 2110 SE 10th Ave, 97214
Limited to 10 Actors
Dates: Thursdays January 2nd - February 17th
Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
The total cost is: $325 (Flexible payment options, available)
$100 Deposit saves your space
Auditing is possible for the first class. It is free to non-participating auditors and $20 to participate.

OC I is a great transitional class for theatre actors and an excellent foundational class for brand new actors.
Beginning with improvisation and easing into scripted scene work, this is a relaxed,
fun approach to getting comfortable being yourself and using your imagination in front of the camera.
The objective of the class is to establish the foundations of a process that emphasizes
simply listening and talking - being "in your skin" - as opposed to in your head.
All work is filmed, reviewed and discussed - time permitting.

A 100 dollar deposit registers you (please shoot me an email, as well).
The deposit can be refunded up until 48 hours before the first class.
The rest of the payment ($225) is then due by the second class.

DATE CHANGE OC I

My next On Camera One class has been postponed one week (due to film work I have received). The price has been lowered due to the holidays. The first class is now happening on the 18th of November. This means that classes will go into the new year - ending on the 6th of January. We will miss Thanksgiving Thursday. The class will still be seven weeks, but it will be spread out over eight weeks.

PS Regarding Covid, my assumption is that all participants will have been fully vaccinate, so we will not be using masks. I know that for various reasons there may be some folks still not vaccinated. And I do not mean to excluding here. But things get so much more complicated with in person class, if we have to continue to use the old protocol. I would therefore prefer to ask that all who attend have gotten their shots.
