On Camera I for Spring

My OC I class taught by Brooke starts this Sunday at 10am. And if you are just curious and not ready to commit - this is also a great chance to check out the class with no obligation. Just let me know you wanna sit in on the one class, and if there are spots left, I will send you the details and confirm with you.

My evening OC I class that I will be teaching has been bumped back one more Monday, so it will actually start up on the 18th. Details below.

**On Camera I (with Brooke Totman)
7 weeks - Limited to 10 Actors
Dates: March 10th - April 21st
Time: Sundays 10am - 1pm
The total cost is $275.
A 100 dollar deposit and a confirming email holds a spot and is considered your registration.

Beginning with improv and easing into scripted scene work, this is a relaxed,
fun approach to getting comfortable in front of the camera.
The objective of the class is to establish the foundations of a process that emphasizes
simply listening and talking - being "in your skin" - as opposed to in your head.
This is a great transitional class for theatre actors and an excellent foundational class for new actors.
All work is filmed, reviewed and discussed - time permitting.

The deposit can be refunded only up to 48 hours before the first class.
The balance ($175) is due by the second class, after which there is no refund.

Ted Rooney - Acting Coach
On camera, Ted has amassed over 35 TV guest-star and recurring credits including Boardwalk Empire, ER, Gilmore Girls, Community, Lost, Weeds, My Name Is Earl, Seinfeld, CSI, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Ted has over 20 principal movie roles (Gone, Legally Blonde, Santa Pups, Blood Work...) and over 35 principal appearances in commercials (Yes, he was Abe Lincoln in the Mt. Dew ad and the Rozerem spots :-) Locally, Ted has appeared in The Librarians, Grimm, Leverage, Portlandia, The Kill Hole, Bucksville and Cell Count. On Stage, Ted has acted locally at Corrib, Profile ad ART, and in regional theatres (Ahmanson - LA, Williamstown Theatre, The McCarter, The Wilma, The Arden, Portland Stage, and Idaho Shakespeare). He has performed in 10 off-Broadway plays and 10 plays in LA with the Actors Co-op. Ted has a BA in Theatre from Lewis and Clark College and an MFA in acting from Temple University. Currently, Ted is currently teaching and coaching acting out of his own studio space, as well as teaching on camera acting at Portland State University.
