Scene Study

**Intermediate/Advanced Scene Study - 5 weeks (Limited to 8 actors)
Dates: November 7 - December 12 (Skipping Thanksgiving)
Time: Thursdays 6:30pm - 9:30pm
The cost is $145 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
If the class is not full, one time participants are welcome for a $30 fee.
Unless an actor chooses to rework a scene, a new one is selected each week.
We (each actor and I) are looking for scenes that will help them move forward in their process and profession.
The requirement for this class is that actors understand the fundamentals of on camera acting and script analysis
and also have experience in front of the camera.
Actors are expected to bring in their scene work "camera ready".

All work is filmed, viewed and discussed.

Next Round of Foundational Classes

Here is my fall round of classes. I will also be teaching a five week Scene Study class on Thursday nights  starting November 7th. Details to follow.
And I will continue to hold $10 Actorcises every other Thursday from 11am-1pm

**Foundational I On Camera Acting - 7 weeks (Limited to 8 actors).
Dates: November 4th - December 16th
Time: Mondays 6:30pm - 9:30pm
The cost is $230 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
Beginning with improv and easing into scripted scene work, this is a relaxed,
fun approach to being comfortable in front of the camera.
The objective of the class is to establish the foundations of a process that emphasizes
simply listening and talking - "being in your skin" - as opposed to in your head.
All work is filmed, reviewed and discussed.

FULL**Foundational II On Camera Acting - 7 weeks (Limited to 8 actors)
Dates: October 30th - December 11th
Time: Wednesdays 6:30pm - 9:30pm
The cost is $220 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
Moving beyond "being in your skin" and finding simplicity on camera.
Here, the focus is on script analysis, character development, rehearsal and auditioning.
We also take a serious look at "getting there" - there, being the "headspace" of the character.
Actors are expected to up the anti, as we get into the hard work of acting.
This class is especially tailored to actors who have already been through the Foundational I class,

though that is not a requirement.
