Late Fall Classes - Scene Study Daytime

I will be squeezing in 4 Scene Study classes in during the “holidays”. I will not be having an evening class this round. This will be a "casual” round, so sign up for as many or as little as you like. I will make it work :-)

Ted

Daytime Scene Study (Limited to 8 actors)
Dates: 4 weeks only, November 5th and 19th, December 3rd and 10th
Time: Wednesdays 10:00am - 1:00pm
Cost: 4 Classes - $100. 3 Classes $80 - 2 Classes $60 and one class 35 bucks.
Unless an actor chooses to rework a scene, a new one is selected each week.
We (each actor and I) are looking for scenes that will help them move forward in their process and profession.
Actors are expected to bring in their work "camera ready".
All work is filmed. Each actor receives their weekly video files. Time permitting, the work is viewed and discussed.
The requirement for this class is that an actor either has been through my On Camera Acting I and II classes,

or is comfortable in front of the camera and is proficient in on camera acting and script analysis.

Late Fall Classes: On Camera II

On Camera Acting II - 6 weeks (Limited to 8 actors)
Time: Thursdays 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Dates: November 6th - December 18th (No Class on Thanksgiving)
The cost is $190 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot.
The balance is due by the second class.
Moving beyond "being in your skin" and finding simplicity on camera,
here, the focus is on script analysis, the "headspace" of the character, rehearsal and auditioning.
We also take a serious look at "getting there" - There, being the headspace of the character.
Actors are expected to up the ante, as we get into the hard work of acting.
This class is especially tailored to actors who have already been through the On Camera I class, though that is not a requirement.

All work is film, reviewed and discussed.

Late Fall Classes - On Camera I

Hey All. Here is my next OC I class. I will be announcing my Daytime Advanced Scene Study class by tomorrow. I am also considering a short term (4 or 5 week) evening Advanced Scene Study class for Thursday nights in November.

It looks like my On Camera II class won’t be happening again until January.

I should have more time for Actorcise, which should be happening on Wednesdays or Thursdays - but, as always, I will let you know on a week to week basis.

On Camera Acting I - 7 weeks (Limited to 10 actors).
Dates: November 3rd - December 15th
Time: Mondays 6:30pm - 9:30pm
The cost is $245 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
Beginning with improv and easing into scripted scene work, this is a relaxed,
fun approach to getting comfortable in front of the camera.
The objective of the class is to establish the foundations of a process that emphasizes
simply listening and talking - being "in your skin" - as opposed to in your head.

All work is filmed, reviewed and discussed - time allowing. Each actor receives their weekly video files.
