On Camera Class - Free first class!

Come join us for the first class for free. If you decide to stay on, you can sign up. If not, no obligation.

**Foundational I On Camera Acting - 7 weeks (Limited to 8)
Time: Sundays 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Dates: April 21st - June 9th (April 28th and Memorial Day weekend off)
The cost is $225 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
Beginning with improv and easing into scripted scene work, this is a relaxed,
fun approach to getting comfortable in front of the camera.
The objective of the class is to establish the foundations of a process that emphasizes simply listening and talking - being in your skin, as opposed to being in your head.
Classes reach objectives through reviewing filmed work and class discussions.
All classes will be held at: 305 SE 3rd Ave. #404

Nature always helps a writer to learn from its elements. Nature always try to teach new lessons and a writer transform its experience into words. He can transform even silence into words. This blog taught me a lesson. เรียน ged

Ted Rooney - Acting Coach
On camera, Ted has amassed over 35 TV guest-star and recurring credits including Boardwalk Empire, ER, Gilmore Girls, Community, Lost, Weeds, My Name Is Earl, Seinfeld, CSI, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Ted has over 20 principal movie roles (Gone, Legally Blonde, Santa Pups, Blood Work...) and over 35 principal appearances in commercials (Yes, he was Abe Lincoln in the Mt. Dew ad and the Rozerem spots :-) Locally, Ted has appeared in The Librarians, Grimm, Leverage, Portlandia, The Kill Hole, Bucksville and Cell Count. On Stage, Ted has acted locally at Corrib, Profile ad ART, and in regional theatres (Ahmanson - LA, Williamstown Theatre, The McCarter, The Wilma, The Arden, Portland Stage, and Idaho Shakespeare). He has performed in 10 off-Broadway plays and 10 plays in LA with the Actors Co-op. Ted has a BA in Theatre from Lewis and Clark College and an MFA in acting from Temple University. Currently, Ted is currently teaching and coaching acting out of his own studio space, as well as teaching on camera acting at Portland State University.
