New Fall Classes

On Camera Acting I - 7 weeks (Limited to 10 actors).
Time: Thursdays 6:30pm - 9:30pm
The cost is $245 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
Beginning with improv and easing into scripted scene work, this is a relaxed,
fun approach to getting comfortable in front of the camera.
The objective of the class is to establish the foundations of a process that emphasizes
simply listening and talking - being "in your skin" - as opposed to in your head.
All work is filmed, reviewed and discussed - time allowing. Each actor receives their weekly video files.

On Camera Acting II - 7 weeks (Limited to 8 actors)
Time: Mondays 6:30pm - 9:30pm
The cost is $220 - A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
Moving beyond "being in your skin" and finding simplicity on camera,
here, the focus is on script analysis, the "headspace" of the character, rehearsal process and auditioning.
Actors are expected to up the ante, as we get into the hard work of acting. Expect more of a time commitment, here.
This class is especially tailored to actors who have already been through the Foundational I class, though that is not a requirement.
All work is film, reviewed and discussed - time permitting. Each actor receives their weekly video files.

Daytime Scene Study (Limited to 8 actors)
Time: Thursdays 10:00am - 1:00pm
Cost: 6 Classes - $150. If space is available, drop ins are welcome at $35 per class.
A $50 dollar deposit holds a spot. The balance is due by the second class.
Unless an actor chooses to rework a scene, a new one is selected each week.
We (each actor and I) are looking for scenes that will help them move forward in their process and profession.
Actors are expected to bring in their work "camera ready".
All work is filmed. Each actor receives their weekly video files. Time permitting, the work is viewed and discussed.
The requirement for this class is that an actor either has been through my On Camera Acting I and II classes, or is comfortable in front of the camera and is proficient in on camera acting and script analysis.

  1. I have a cousin that went to acting school and she loved it. She learned some amazing things there to take her to the next level. These classes can make a huge difference in your acting.
